- Support early prototype integration, bring-up, and debugging; perform hands-on triage and root-cause analysis
- Contribute to embedded software design for resource-constrained platforms running Linux or real-time operating systems
- Communicate complex engineering topics to multidisciplinary audiences through documents, drawings, and presentations
- Champion best-practice systems engineering fundamentals throughout the development process
Required Qualifications

- Proven track record in system safety for software-driven products, including authoring feature & functional requirements
- 5+ years developing embedded software or controls on resource-constrained compute platforms
- Experience with safety-related operating systems (RTOS) and Linux runtime environments
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly understand complex systems and perform systematic software analysis
- Working knowledge of automotive functional safety standards such as ISO 26262
- Hands-on experience with safety-critical software development processes and tools
- Strong engineering communication skills-written, verbal, and visual
Preferred/Bonus Skills

- Experience across multiple body domains: doors, hoods, trunks, latches, interior/exterior lighting, keyless entry, connectivity
