A Day in the Life of a Production Manager
Position: Production Manager for Assembly Line | Inspire and Empower
Imagine spending your days leading a dedicated team in the Top Load Washer Sub-Assembly. As a Production Manager, you’ll inspire operational excellence and guide your team in creating a greater impact. This position combines day-to-day management with strategic insights to advance our manufacturing success.
Mission: As an essential leader, you'll nurture an environment dedicated to ongoing improvement and creativity. You'll shape the efficiency, growth, and success of our team and operations.
Typical Week: Work from Monday to Thursday, 2:30 PM until 1:00 AM, with extra hours available on Fridays for overtime work.

Key Activities

Champion operational success through empowering leadership
Foster an encouraging and performance-oriented team atmosphere
Develop and guide team members to achieve their fullest potential
Advocate for and drive process enhancements
Work alongside technical staff to optimize production methods
Lead initiatives that emphasize safety and high quality
Implement and support lean manufacturing strategies
Create and maintain powerful team and union relationships

Competencies Required

You Should Bring:

Proven success in leading and inspiring high-performing teams
1-3 years of expertise in fast-paced manufacturing settings
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite tools
Understanding of lean methodologies like Kaizen and Kanban
Preferably, a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, or Operations
